Curt focuses on the importance of
horsemanship to make good horse owners and good horses.
He demonstrated how to consider the horse a partner, rather than
a servant, to work through routine issues that might be affecting your
relationship with your horse.
A real cowboy who grew up around horses
and on a real ranch, Curt developed his own remarkably successful style
of training horses. An
internationally sought after clinician, he travels throughout the world
giving clinics and demonstrations in colt starting.

Today, Curt devotes himself to training horses using techniques he learned while attending Buck Brannaman clinics as a young man. He has been training horses for most of his life, and was a technical advisor for the movie “The Horse Whisperer”, along with Brannaman. Curt has committed himself to helping the hose by helping people. The techniques he utilizes are relatively simple for the horse owner to teach and easy for the horse to learn, yet very effective. Curt believes that anyone can become a good horseman or woman with the knowledge and dedication.

Ken McNabb started his equine experience on a two-week pack trip when he was 10 days old. Like most kids who grow up on ranches, Ken was working cattle and training his own horses while still in grade school. Throughout high school, he picked up extra money breaking colts for neighbors.
By the early 1990's, Ken's natural ability and his love for horses led him to consider studying professional horse training as a career. John Lyons, with his psychological approach and gentle training methods, was beginning to gain national acceptance. In 1993, Ken became one of the first certified John Lyons Trainers. The ranchers back home were skeptical of these gentle methods, but as Ken began producing better saddle horses, the doubts disappeared. The demand for Ken's training time left him fully booked. Realizing that thousands of people were anxious to find better ways of training, Ken began teaching his techniques in 1996.
Since that time, he has taught thousands of students. He has had clinics from coast to coast, from
