E-News for the Iowa Horse Industry

 

In 2007 the Iowa Horse Council (IHC) started a new communication and visitation initiative for the horse industry.  As part of this, IHC has created an e-mail list serve that periodically sends out e-mails to keep you up to date on legislative issues such as slaughter, animal ID, and other important issues facing the horse industry of the nation and more specifically, Iowa.  Iowa equine events and other topics are also forwarded through this list serve.

 

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE

If you are interested in joining this free service for the Iowa horse industry, send an e-mail to IHC_2U@hotmail.com and list SUBSCRIBE in the subject line.  List your name in the e-mail and we will add you to the list.

 

HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE

Of course, at any time (and with each e-mail) you get the opportunity to un-subscribe with a disclaimer stating:  “If you wish to no longer receive this free service, please  e-mail IHC_2U@hotmail.com and write IHC UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line.  Include your e-mail address and name in the body of the e-mail.”  This allows you to unsubscribe at any time.

 

ISSUES DISCUSSED

Please understand the Iowa Horse Council position on the slaughter issue is that we wish to preserve this as an option or choice for those who have un-wanted animals.  As a result, we do send things out through this list serve regarding the slaughter issue.  However, please know, this is not the only issue that is discussed on the list serve; there are many other things to learn from it.
