About Solomon’s Clydesdales
Solomon’s Clydesdales was founded in 1976 by Max and Beverly Remus. Their son, Brad, continues on this Clydesdale tradition today. Solomon’s Clydesdales is located in Osborne, Kansas, along the South Fork of the Solomon River.
Solomon’s Clydesdales’ made their show ring debut in 1981 and have been very active in the show ring ever since, participating in halter as well as hitching up to a 6 horse hitch of home raised mares.
Solomon’s Clydesdales competes in numerous state fairs across the Midwest, including the Iowa State Fair. In addition, they have competed at the World Clydesdale Show; the National Western Livestock Show in Denver, Colorado; the Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa; and the Britt Draft Horse Show in Britt, Iowa.
Solomon’s Clydesdales continues to expand their successful breeding program today, in addition to their continued success in the halter and hitching arenas with the help of Jared and Kellie Gardner who own and operate Gardner Horse Training in Madrid, Iowa.
At Gardner Horse Training, we break horses, draft horses and saddle horses, to drive single or double; condition and fit horses for competition as well as fitting horses for those individuals that are looking to sell their horse. In addition, Jared is a farrier; trimming and shoeing for all types of horse. Jared and Kellie have been showing horses professionally for themselves as well as others for 25+ years.
Solomon’s Clydesdales and Gardner Horse Training are truly honored to be a part of the Iowa Horse Fair.
